About Menorca’s Secret Style
A glimpse into life in Menorca, the Menorquín way. Slow living and consciously inspired by the island. For Menorca’s Secret Style’s founder, Lizzie, her partner Sús and their 4 year old son Isaac, the island of Menorca is their beloved home.
Golden hour at their local beach, watching the sunset with salt in their hair and sand on their feet is when they truly feel their souls are at ease so they are sharing some of the islands secrets with you in the hope that you can make the most of your time here in Menorca and stay connected to la isla and that holiday feeling whilst you are away.
Their ethos? Simple; they only share what they love, enjoy the most and make as a part of their day to day lives on the island - all year round.
Their religion? Fiesta!
Their reason? For Love.
Our story
Lizzie is originally from Suffolk, England and her partner Sús who is Menorquín are lucky enough and very proud to call Menorca their home. They love where they live and have a passion for all things Menorquín. From its culture, history, style and architecture to the calm pace of island life, the tranquility and spending time with their family and friends.
They are happiest enjoying the islands fiestas during the summer months and can always be found out in the countryside on horseback or walking their pup, enjoying a cold beer in their Huerto (Orchard) or taking a dip in a secluded Cala. They love snoozing in the chicest of hotels and balmy summer evenings enjoying the glorious, local wine and the freshest ‘from farm to fork’ food.
First coming to the island as a young child, Lizzie learnt to walk on the beaches here, taking her first steps in the sand on an island that would shape and change her life in the most wonderful of ways and now delights in recreating the same memories for her family, watching their son learning to walk on the same sands and embracing the wonderful Menorquín culture and way of life.
